Your career goals: First and foremost is to have a job that I
completely enjoy and to wake up every morning with a smile on my face because I
love what I am doing. I also want to make a difference in other people’s
lives and have a positive effect on others that I encounter during my
career.
Hobbies: Mountain biking, soccer, volleyball, working out, reading
Favorite childhood memory: I remember when I was 5 years old and my mom took
me to Six Flags for the first time. I was with my three sisters and
brother and a few of the neighbor kids. It was a hot day and the trip
wouldn’t have been complete without stopping at the waffle cone shop for a cold
scoop of chocolate ice cream. Being five years old I wasn’t necessarily
worried about how much ice cream actually got into my mouth. I have a
picture taken from that day standing next to my sister covered from head to toe
with chocolate ice cream.
Something interesting about you or your family others may not know: My
father was a pro golfer back in the 1950’s and played at the famous Pebble Beach
Golf Course. My brother was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1991 and
played minor league baseball for 8 years, but unfortunately he was hurt and had
to give up his dream.
Five things you would like to accomplish in this lifetime:
1. Run a marathon
2. Compete in a triathlon
3. Travel to
a poor country and take part in a program that builds houses and provides
education, etc. for underprivileged families and children

Something you feel very strongly about: Education and loyalty
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I
always wanted to be a doctor when I was little, but as I got older I realized I
could not handle the site of blood.
If you could have any animal as a pet, what animal would you choose? I
would love to have a Koala Bear as my pet. They are one of the most
interesting animals, and I think they are really cute.

As a role model, what do you hope children will learn from you? I want
children to learn how to be an individual and to believe in themselves.
Confidence is one of the most important aspects of a person’s personality and
will bring success in their lives. I would also want them to learn to set
high standards, never give up on their dreams and to take risks. Most
importantly, I want children to realize mistakes will be made along the way and
they should learn from those mistakes, take what they have learned and turn it
into something positive. Life is full of lessons, and it is extremely
important to apply those lessons to aspects of your life in order to grow as a
person.
