Occupation (Job Title): Dance Teacher & Graduate Student
Your career goals: Become a professor in women’s studies, but most
importantly be a positive female role model for women in my classes by helping
them to understand it’s not men vs. women, but women and men understanding each
other and working together to create a balance and equality between the
sexes.
Hobbies: I love to be outdoors, so hiking, biking, playing football or
washers are all great activities. I also love to read and go shopping.
Favorite childhood memory: When I was a little girl my parents took me
to Disney World, and I got to meet all the princesses and take my picture with
them. My parents were great and got me a crown and this pink outfit with
the princesses on it, and I wore it all the time and loved it.
Something interesting about you or your family others may not know:
Thanksgiving in our family is the most important holiday. We are together
all day long, and it’s our holiday where the gloves are off and anything goes.
We tease each other relentlessly, share tales of our screw-ups, point out the
strange and funny habits we have, and if someone brings a date, watch out
because he/she doesn’t get off the hook any easier. It’s the best holiday
we have together, and we all love it and look forward to it.
Five things you would like to accomplish in this lifetime:
1. Help people to see their potential for greatness in this life.
2. To find my soul-mate and know and accept all his flaws and love him
unconditionally. 3. Understand and accept all of life’s challenges
gracefully, learn from them and share that knowledge with others.
4. Live my life as I choose even if that sometimes means with reckless
abandon.
5. Have fun everyday and see the beauty in life because
each day is a gift from God and it is my responsibility to share my gifts with
others and help them see that there is beauty in everything, if you only take
the time to see it.
