The St. Louis Rams are searching for enthusiastic, talented and energetic young women to be members of the their renowned entertainment and public relations team – the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders!

On Thursday, May 7th from 7-10 PM, the Rams will host a mandatory Audition clinic and on Saturday, May 9th from 2PM to 6PM auditions will host open auditions.  Both events will be taking place at Russell Training Center (Formerly Rams Park)

The Clinic and Saturday, May 9th Audition are closed to the general public.

Who is Eligible:
All Paricipants must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2009.  (No Exceptions) You must be able to attend all home games, rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10PM beginning immediately following the final announcement of the 2009 Squad on Friday, May 22nd.  You must attend a minimum of 15 public relations and charity events within a 12 month period.  You must be able to attend St. Louis’ Race for the Cure event on Saturday, June 13th from 8AM – 1PM.  You must be able to attend a mandatory training camp Friday, June 26th –  Sunday, June 28th.  Participants may not cheer for Rams and another professional or college team concurrently. 

Audition Attire (including clinics and rehearsals):

  • Crop Top or Sports Bra of your Choice (Sleeves or Halter)
  • Trunks or briefs (these look like the lower half of a leotard or bikini bottoms)
  • Neutral colored panty hose
  • Tennis Shoes or Jazz Shoes
  • No Bike shorts, Boy Shorts, dance pants, hot pants, things or colored hose!

Dance Preparation:
A dance Team Precision style is emphasized.  Various styles of dance are used by the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders.  Turns, kicks and leaps are incorporated into routines.

Judging:
A Panel of judges will select the 2009 St. Louis Cheerleaders. Judging is based on dance ability, physical fitness, personality, appearance and poise.

  • Current Photo of you individually
  • Photos may be in color or black & white, full body or headshot;
  • Resume (Professional and/or Dance)
  • Three Professional references
